Ooh that’s a great game
Places I can’t afford to move to. Naturally.
I’ll take a cybernetic heart. I was born with a heart defect, and one heart attack was enough for me. I’d love to know what it felt like to have endurance too.
My parents were frustrated, but not boiling over when I came out as bi. I guess they thought future grandchildren weren’t out of the question yet. Then I came out as trans, and I was immediately dead to them. I’ve been reconnecting with my mom years later because she’s divorcing my dad, but I’m still being cautious about it. Life has been brighter without them around anyway.
Give Nox a try if you’d like a game with good isometric dungeon crawling. It’s on GOG.
#3, and it’s still my favorite.
SNES followed by the PS2.
I have a larger fleet, but my phantom, dolphin, and vulture are my long-time favorites.
Mongoose 2nd. It’s my first time playing Traveller and I’m enjoying my role as the ship engineer. Turning wrenches was my calling all along.
I’m playing in an OSE game that’s running us through various dungeons and that’s been fun. Outside of OSR I’m also in Traveller and VtM games.
I’m finishing up a mamba build, which I’ll have some fun with soon. Then I’ll probably disappear into the black for a while exploring.
I backed it and I check my email for it every day. Yes I’m excited. I might still wait until I have the proper book to run a game, but I’d still like to study it first.
Freelancer. Space games are in demand right now. That’s begging for a remaster, remake, or sequel.
Armored Core 6 is the only thing on my mind.
Subnautica
Tunic
The Legend of Grimrock 1 and 2 (I’ve convinced 0 people to try these)
Probably Elden Ring. I don’t like many AAA games, so that wins by default. I am a big fan of Armored Core though, and the upcoming sequel is definitely in AAA territory. I’ll probably change my answer after I get a chance to play it.
I enjoy ED here and there. Now that I have a fleet carrier and most of the ships I want, it’s more of a slow burn game for me that I play a little at a time. I usually explore when I’m playing more regularly, but lately I’m slogging through powerplay for exclusive parts.
It’s a fun game, but the devs could do better at drawing players in and keeping their attentions. At least the flight mechanics feel amazing, because I’ll take any excuse to keep doing that.
I can’t say much about the length because I’m still somewhat early in. I love the new vibe though, and I’m excited to explore through more of it. I’m happy it’s not the exact same story as the first game, although I loved that one too.
I was wondering if anyone mentioned Nox already. It’s a shame that it went so unnoticed while Diablo took off in popularity. I always preferred Nox.
