Going the wrong way down a one way bike lane, or blocking the box on a bike lane. Honestly, we have pretty great tourists, these are minor issues.
They work well on loose surfaces such as sand and gravel, but excel in cities because they are incredibly stable, and cannot get jammed in tram tracks, (legacy) storm drains, or gaps between shifting slabs of concrete. They can also be run at incredibly low pressures.
They do have more resistance than normal tires, but not much more, and the difference is negligible for an ebike :)
Reminds me of this dog in Brazil, who can throw it back. :)
I’d love to go back to school, not for better grades, but purely for learning. There are some interesting af fields out there!
Woo! I just put fenders on mine. I don’t have a good picture of them yet, though :)
Right on, thanks :)
Good on them, hopefully they didn’t bite off more than they can chew. I don’t know if RadPower bikes has some insider knowledge, but they told me a bit ago that Lectric had saved the brand when I was getting some of their fenders for my RipRacer (their fenders are compatible, with some tweaking!)
Juiced Bikes are awesome, and I’m really glad that the bikes, the performance and range, and the design language will survive. It’s the perfect blend of an ebike and normal bike, with none of the required apps, logins, proprietary parts, or bells and whistles that ebike makers are increasingly adding to their bikes.
Class 3 ebikes are awesome. Looking forward to the new designs! Though the smartphone integration is an active downside, and remote unlock is useless fluff imo, as you should be locking up your bike anyways. Having a good mirror is almost more important than radar. I wish that stuff could be removed to lower the price…
That said, I’m glad to see more 20x3 in (or 4in) ebikes in a portable, city form factor. It makes a lot more sense than long but thin 27in wheels that can get jammed in cracks in the concrete, storm drains, or tram/train tracks.
I already did a month or two ago, I knew he was going to ruin it. Everything he touches dies.
Then, about 20 years later, they did the same thing again, bombing each other flat. Then the US had to bomb the shit out of everyone to prize many countries out of the hands of fascists. Then the EU was created to keep the peace, which fucking worked, at least until the fascists came back and screwed everything up like they always do.
Visiting grandma would be out of this world, though. :)
Honestly, someday it could be like this…
Encouraging leftists not to vote or to vote for third party candidates
Highlighting issues with the Democratic party as being disqualifying while ignoring the objectively worse positions held by the Republican party
These two things drive me fucking crazy, and you are absolutely spot on with all of this. Obviously, the Democrats aren’t perfect. But the argument that X makes them complicit in Y issue is a null point when the alternative is unbridled, unchecked fascism.
WHATEVER POINT YOU WERE TRYING TO MAKE, IT WILL NOT BE SOLVED BY ELECTING FASCISTS. It doesn’t matter if it’s corruption, wars, homophobia, trade, the economy, taxes, it could even be people shitting in litter boxes.
Whatever it is, having the entire country taken down to the studs is not going to help your issue, in fact, it’s probably going to make your problem significantly worse. The economy? Look up the tariff war that caused the great depression. Homophobia? Read up on the lavender scare and how it tanked our astronomy and weapons research, notably ICBM research. Wars? Need I say anything more? We’ve had insane wars due to Republican war hawks for decades. Whoever you were trying to protect, they are 100% B O N E D now. And now we are sending innocent people off to literal concentration camps, so don’t give me any of that “the Dems don’t respect human rights” crap. It’s beyond the pale now and all this was warned of in advance by those morons who published P2025 before the election. And yet, people still fell for it. It’s absolutely infuriating that we are gonna have to dig the country (and the economy) out of a massive pit once again, if it’s even possible at this point. We will be extremely lucky to prize it back out of the hands of dictators before they run it into the ground like they did with Venezuela.
You are innovating in cookie design. That is super cool, thank you for the advice! :)
Well said!
Thank you! I thought about taking a cutting, but the only close place with huckleberries is a local (beloved) park where taking cuttings may be frowned upon. If I still can’t get seeds started in a month or two, I might work up the courage to sneak a small branch x3
Huh, I had no idea. Thanks for the heads up!
Is the dirt in those little grow pucks actual peat, or is it “peat” the same way “pencil lead” is actually just graphite?
Ford survived, despite him being a full blown Nazi CEO about a century ago.
