Have you tried downloading the AUR? Oh, it’s not available in the AUR? What about the flat pack? The package name changed, but it’s not available there either. It’s an app image, but to get it to work you’re going to need to switch your Nvidia drivers to DKMS. OK… So that didn’t work, have you tried reinstalling dracut and ffmpeg?
That… Doesn’t seem good if I’m being totally honest
I’m honestly surprised that more people don’t come up with a weekday menu over the weekend. It can be simple, like you mentioned buns plus whatever. Simple meat, grain, veg is easy (frozen fish or fried tofu, rice/quinoa, and some broccoli or Brussels).
When all else fails… Breakfast tacos for dinner will do. Prefer egg and sausage, but I’ll settle for egg and avocado with some hot sauce.
San Antonio mentioned - let’s gooooo!
The individual mandate penalty went away in 2019
Yeah, I wasn’t sure initially if I’d like it enough to pull the trigger on lifetime. I should have. Been paying for the annual subscription for the past ~2 years, but the price of lifetime has steadily been increasing. Will probably pull the trigger later this year as a little celebration gift to myself for wrapping up other financial obligations.
That’s a high speed train for the non-weebs
I run Qobuz through a roon server on my Linux pc and it works great. I also have qobuz set up through strawberry, but it’s nice to be able to switch the output on the fly between different audio setups in my house (between my office setup and my bluesound streamer in the living room). The interface for roon is nice, but I get that it’s kinda expensive and there are cheaper ways to achieve the same thing. I like to stream while I’m biking on my indoor trainer and sometimes it’s nice to spin up a few songs and let roon take the wheel to keep the vibe going. I can also stream qobuz through roon to my Google home devices, but it doesn’t stream bit perfect.
All that to say, I like qobuz and roon is pretty solid as well, albeit an extravagance and totally not necessary. The writeups qobuz has are also solid.
I do think the qobuz app interface leaves something to be desired.

I’m currently on paternity leave. Took 8 weeks broken into two chunks. 5 weeks when baby was born and 3 when my wife’s 12 weeks ended. I couldn’t imagine taking a few days and diving back into work. Both my wife and I work demanding jobs - I’m not sure I’d feel the same bond with my son if I didn’t have this time… I also wouldn’t have the same appreciation for how challenging it can be to be solo with the kiddo. It’s pretty much a full time job to feed, change, and tend to the little guy. He’s fighting to be a never napper and wakes up after 20-30 mins in his bassinet. Only gets longer naps if on my lap, which pretty much locks me down in whatever chair were in when he falls asleep (I know I can’t do contact naps forever and need to get him used to falling asleep on his own).
All that to say… I think all dad’s should get paternity leave. 5 weeks is fine. 8 is good. 12 is perfect.
I hope this guy gets booed (preferably heckled harshly to the point where he feels unsafe) everywhere he goes for the rest of his pathetic life.
It’s good. Simple playback loop. Upgrades are slow but unlocking new cars is rewarding. No micro transactions.
Not particularly unsafe. I’ve had to pull off during road trips either for food or emergency car maintenance in rural Louisiana and in Alabama. The Louisiana pit stop at a small garage in the middle of nowhere didn’t make me feel unsafe, but the guys in the shop were unironically talking about how you could turn your Bluetooth on in order to see who around you has been vaccinated because their MAC address would show up.
In Alabama a ton of people were staring at me… I was like… Do I have something on my face? Oh, you just think it’s weird that a Latino guy is in your small family restaurant for breakfast?
In South Carolina there were a bunch of dudes toting confederate flags, which was unsettling, but they didn’t threaten me or anything.
I unfortunately live in a red state now to be close to family for a few years. I can’t wait till I can move back to the PNW or Colorado to be closer to one of my brothers.
