Once my GrapheneOS phone goes out of service, I may just go back to flip phones. I actually kind of hate smartphones and their corrosive effect on the world. The convenience isn’t worth the loss of privacy, empowerment of bad actors, and psychological/societal damage. I can live without it. I’ll just do computery stuff on real computers on my own schedule.

But I’d like to think that our top brass have a deep understanding of the history of how wars develop, see the writing on the wall and do a coup. They are literally the only force that can kill this cancer before it fully metastasizes.

That’s just mind boggling. The onus is on the state to provide age verification, or make their ISPs do it.

He didn’t insult the guy, he just wasn’t polite. Linus is plenty nice to people not actively making his job harder while he’s on vacation. It’s understandable to be short with someone under those circumstances.
This is also how I feel about advertising, especially any that have an audio component. Firefox and uBlock Origin are a lifesaver.
