Deine Irritation ist nachvollziehbar.

Meiner Meinung nach ist pathetisch nicht das richtige Adjektiv. “Erbärmlich” wäre als equivalentes Adjektiv besser angebracht als pathetisch, es schildert die Verachtung besser.

Auf der einen Seite ist pathetisch vom griechischem “pathos”abstammend, und kann demnach ebenfalls Konnotationen von Erhabenheit, Hochtraberei, und sogar Mitleid einschließen.

Im Gegensatz zu erbärmlich scheint pathetisch jedoch eher im Kontext von herzhaften und emotional ergreifenden Reden/Darstellungen/Aktionen gebräuchlich, also solche die mit Überzeugung und “Pathos” vorgebracht werden.

Nur meine zwei Cent.

My general impression is that Lando is his own worst enemy. His own head is fucking with him way too often. I believe he acknowledges this rather openly.

Conversely, Piastri seems to have the polar opposite characteristics. He’s almost eerily calm, controlled and collected and it makes him look utterly inflappable.

While Piastri sure experiences comparable pressure at this stage, in contrast to Lando he does not show it and hence doesn’t allow the media spectacle to zero in on him to question his coping skills.

I always say “Fuck you” because I enjoy the looks.
