Have you seen or read Gundam the Origin? They spend a lot of time together there.

I love reading this guy’s words. It’s exactly the sort of thing you’d expect the writer of Chainsaw Man to write and that’s wonderful.
Finished reading Fullmetal Alchemist this week, and I’ve got to say reading that climax to the soundtrack of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood was a 10/10 experience. What a great time.
Since I finished one long series I decided to start another. I’ve had all 28 volumes of the Japanese edition of Kaguya-sama: Love is War on my shelf for over a year now, but I’ve been too afraid to start it - until now! Anyways, turns out my fear was well-justified.
POV: you thought you were ready for Kaguya-sama’s vocab just because you’ve read a few other seinen manga before
So that’s been fun. Been learning all sorts of interesting words like 潮騒 (roar of the sea waves), or 純愛 (pure love), or 輪廻 (cycle of death and rebirth). The vocab shown off here makes Fullmetal Alchemist look simple (it wasn’t) by comparison.
Blue Box also had a nice chapter this week, so that’s been fun. I don’t like it quite as much as Kaguya-sama: Love is War, but it’s still consistently been one of my favorite love stories in manga. It might be the best shounen love story I’ve seen, though Dandadan also competes pretty hard! We’ll have to see where both of them go from here.
Speaking of Dandadan, it’s currently in the part of the arc where lots of stuff is happening and everything is absolutely insane. I’m really looking forward to seeing how that all gets resolved.
It’s crazy how low-res the images often are even when you pay for digital manga from the official source. I know they have higher-res images because the print version is sharper!
Most Utahns aren’t Mormon these days.
I don’t know how I missed it, but you’re right. She definitely said it was a secret plan for just two people. She also says something about a rendezvous though, so maybe they’ll temporarily split up and take separate paths to Earth or something like that. Could just be a rendezvous of the two people mentioned earlier though.
I feel bad for Nyaan, she didn’t deserve to get yelled at by Machu
I know, right? Hopefully she gets an awkward apology now that Machu is talking with her again.
and I’m worried she’ll die or get left behind in space when Machu and Shuji go to Earth
Maybe. I don’t think it’ll happen though; it seems like Machu is intent on getting her involved in the plan. It’s not like Machu and Shuji can just fly to earth in their mobile suits anyways, so there’s no reason to assume seating is limited. It also seems like Nyaan is too important of a character to be split from the party at this point. She’s in the ED and everything! Not even Shuji is in the ED! If she stayed behind while the other two went to earth I don’t know how she’d get her screentime in.
Didn’t expect that I’d see Bask today!
As for whether that inexperienced pilot could take on Challia if necessary: I have my doubts lol.
Really makes me curious to see in what dramatic way they’ll be reunited this time.
Glad you liked Cipher!
I think I just found crystal triangle on youtube
Yep, that’s the one!
It’s not simply “some strange reason”. There will be a lot of press coverage when they release a desktop version so naturally they want it to be as good an experience as possible. They may not ever get another chance for that kind of coverage after all, and they wouldn’t want SteamOS’s reputation to be damaged (again) because it wasn’t good enough for most people to use (again).
Steam input doesn’t work with VKB joysticks, lol.
edit: figured out how to open the quick access menu on my laptop and I can’t change my power levels. So yeah, as I suspected Bazzite can’t do either of those things. I doubt any other distro can either.
Lol, I’d be surprised if they could do either of those things, let alone both. I know Bazzite can’t; I have it on my laptop and that shit can’t even update itself properly.
Really? Which distro has a button I can press to open a menu to change the power budget on my Ryzen 5 5600? Which distro has everything configured for me to be able to use my VKB joysticks without needing to mess with the registry in the proton prefixes of Windows games?
There is no distro that supports arbitrary hardware as well as SteamOS supports the Steam Deck.
It’s not as simple as just releasing something. They need to develop it first, and making it a good experience with arbitrary hardware is actually pretty hard.
I read this as “SteamOS is bad because of reason I personally don’t like that many people don’t understand, so do more research about Linux”
It’s easy to dismiss this as something that won’t ever matter to you, but this is something that can cause problems in all sorts of ways even for gamers. The first thing that came to mind is not being able to install custom drivers to support weird hardware, like a racing wheel or something.
My first time watching Steins;Gate I dropped it right about where you are for mostly the same reasons. I gave it a second try years later and I’m glad I did! It really picks up around… episode 12. Yeah. 12. It takes way too long to get exciting, but when it did I found myself unable to put it down.
Didn’t know this existed! Thanks for putting it on my radar!
Garma sure did eventually lmao
Yes, and Char is half of one of the most classic yaoi ships so naturally people expect his relationships to move 3x faster.
Really though what I’ve noticed is that anime fans will basically take whichever two characters have the most screen time together and ship them no matter what. See: Deku x Bakugo.
