TNG Season 8 was great fun. Mike McMahan also wrote Warped: An Engaging Guide to the Never Aired 8th Season, that is basically full episode outlines for an entire season, based on his TNG_S8 posts.

I cannot express frequently enough how much it bothers me that his current iteration of Paramount own Trek, Avatar – martial arts and friendship, not blue cat people – and TMNT.

Regardless of what I do or do not want, Paramount keeps announcing that they’ve got movies in pre-production.

Interesting that they didn’t include Sam Magg’s credit as the writer of Star Trek: Picard’s Academy, one of the worst comics I’ve ever read.

Considering that there’s unlikely to be a new Trek television series for quite some time now, I think any claims that some bit of supplementary media is canon is unlikely to be tested any time soon.

I’ve said it before, but I cannot recommend “Warp Your Own Way” enough. It is extremely well done.

This is an unfortunate design choice.

Despite having perhaps the worst logo in comic book history, I am look forward to this book. The art looks pretty good, even if the uniforms are booty, and I did like the recently ended ongoing Trek book that Kelly and Lanzing wrote.

I’m not sure that would work. The House of Ra’ul was dishonoured by Dak’Rah’s defection to the Federation, that’s way worse than getting drunk and stabbing yourself while trying to murder a Ferengi.

Hell, even in Trek, LDecks did it, to an extent.

However, that doesn’t mean the SNW take isn’t going to be good, and maybe even have a new approach to the concept.

I feel like I’m too old to know who the non-Trelene one is.

I think The Q Conflict is an absolute banger, and the Lower Decks mini, as well as the choose your own adventure style Lower Decks - Warp Your Own Way are great. Star Trek - Year Five is also pretty good, as is the Sisko Star Trek book and Defiant, both of which just ended, though only three volumes of each are included here.

A lot of the rest of those… Personally I am not champing at the bit to reread the ones I’ve already read.

I fully intend to do SNW, “Academy” and any other new Trek we get. Hopefully in a more timely fashion than I did this season of PRO. Not having a weekly release schedule, and not being available for streaming in Canada definitely caused a lot of delays in finishing up this season.

Give me a full Gorn Wedding playset from that one episode of LDecks!
