I highly doubt that’s the reason, but if it is we need to be louder and more disruptive. I think we are far past the point of just hanging out for a 2 hour protest twice a month. I think it’s time for strikes. I think it’s waaay past time for strikes.

At the same time though, now that things like that are already out in the open it’s going to be a lot harder. I’ve already seen videos of people yelling at cops that are harassing and questioning alleged immigrants.

His “make America great again” stance is really only accomplishing “make everyone else but America great again.” No matter which way America goes, whether its full fascism or a better democracy, within the next 5-10 years someone else is going to take America’s role economically and politically on a global scale. This man has single handedly destroyed whatever remaining good faith the US had left.

That’s what I find so crazy. Like, how narcissistic do you have to be to give this much of shit about ruling with an iron fist, fucking over poor people, and giving anyone that pays him enough whatever they want? The Democrats that are in office are just as detached from reality and the everyday person as Republicans are. Both parties are basically dead at this point and unless you wanna vote for a literal fuck ton of shit you don’t agree with you are shit out of luck. None of them wanna give people things like affordable healthcare or workers the rights they deserve anymore. The fact that no matter which side you choose can’t even definitively decide if transgender people should be treated like people or that corporations are ruining the country is pretty telling about how fucked it all is.

With how many republicans in my area have gotten pissed off at Trump I’d very much like to see how many he is even selling. But knowing him, we’d never know and they’d just become “out of stock” next week no matter what.

I think the Canadians got scared straight because their neighbor is directly out to get them and ruin their country. The danger is more pressing, immediate, and right at their back door.

Whenever I used to meet women republicans I would always bring up how the other republicans don’t really care about their point of view and just want their votes. For example, if they are against abortion because they believe that it is actually murder, I respect their opinion even if I disagree with them. But I would always tell them that the people, specifically republican men, are not agreeing with them for the same reason. They don’t care about whether or not it’s murder, they just want to control women’s bodies and turn them into breeders. It’s never been about the unborn and it’s always been about the fact that these men don’t believe women have the right to deny them their future children.

People used to say that my opinion on the matter is extreme and that they couldn’t possibly think of women like that. But now here we are in the year of our Lord 2025 and the government’s religious advisor is saying that women need to submit to men. And I’m sure before we can even blink they’ll be trying to remove women from public office and get rid of their right to vote. They’re already firing them under the pretense of DEI.

I want him to lose it so badly that he starts blaming this administration for everything that happened to him and starts going off against them. That’d be hilarious.

They’re barely over half the population these days. That’s a lot of people you are making your enemy if they start pushing this shit further.

If you look up interviews of people that used to be neo-nazis they legitimately thought they were saving the world. The people they were following convinced them that the reason people don’t like them is because they were trying to hurt them and the only solution was to hurt them first.

A deluxe edition does seem a little lame for a remaster. But at the same time the deluxe edition is still cheaper than Starfield and I’d much rather play this.

I straight up got emotional during the trailer and announcement stream. Oblivion was the first RPG of this kind that I ever played and was one of my favorite games in middle school. Hopefully it’s a stable release because I wanna play that shit as soon as I get home from work.

Jokes aside, I do not consider this administration capable during an emergency. We all saw how Trump handled COVID and that was with semi-competent people in his administration. If a real emergency happened they’d fuck it up beyond comprehension.

Making Mountain Dew Code Red and Flamming Hot Cheetos bright ass fucking red has always seemed so pointless to me. The only reason people would find uncolored food unappealing would probably come down to conditioning since we were kids. In the US we have literally always had food that was heavily colored all over the grocery store and has always been hard to avoid. And colorized beverages in cans I always found incredibly dumb as 80% of people will never even see the liquid in the first place since they drink it right out of the can.

They’re always making progress on everything while nothing ever happens. I know fascists wanna waste all our time but they could at least pretend they’ve accomplished something.
