  • Annoying and tedious. I don’t mind linking to the sauce if I have it but I often don’t, and then I have to look it up. If I can look it up on saucenao, then so can whoever else wants to find it. And I would predict that the average number of people who care about the sauce on any given post is a lot less than 1, so it would be much less work overall to just expect the person who actually cares look it up.

The list of tags is just beyond pointless, not to mention extremely excessive. If there’s content that people don’t want to see, that’s what different communities are for, not stupid text tags that you can’t even filter by.

And the submission page doesn’t have any of these rules, so now every time I make a post, I have to first remember to visit the lewd_loli community and open this post in another tab, just to make sure I have the right formatting? Get real. It makes me want to stop posting.

  • I don’t think that’s a good enough reason to reject anyone. Lurkers are important too, and I think it’s fine if people don’t fully understand the website until they’ve been here a few days or even a few months. I would very strongly recommend getting rid of the rather medieval approval process. The only thing it accomplishes is bouncing people away from the website.

Easy flow of site usage is incredibly important to hook new users, and that means being able to see content and post content the first time they’re here with minimal fuss, instead of having to come back later.
