Sounds like what you’re looking for is socialism, friend. It’s still a scary word to many, many people, but mostly because they don’t really understand what it means. But more and more people every day are finally realizing that capitalism is fucking almost all of us and needs to be stopped. Keep talking and educating, others AND yourself. It’s going to take a while (possibly longer than we have as a society) to turn this behemoth, but it will only happen once enough people are on board.

I always say, I’ve literally never seen anyone get upset over hearing merry christmas, but I’ve witnessed plenty of people lose their shit over hearing happy holidays.

Why the fuck would anyone trust them? They’ve never existed in our world. To them, an economic downturn is when their returns might face a small reduction. We have a federal election next month, with candidates that have a lot of similarities with the US situation last November. It’s going to be a good indicator of what kind of country Australians want.

Depending on the US for anything is bad policy these days. I’d love to see the entire rest of the world collectively exclude them from the global economy. But of course the oligarchs won’t allow that.
