No, I’m not currently signed up to volunteer with them as I really personally believe in the proportional representation reform and the organization has not endorsed the community.

3·1 day agoThe alternative vote is a winner-take-all electoral system that allows 1 of the 2 parties to win all the legislative power without actually having the majority of the first vote leading to the prime ministers to make bad choices due to not properly engaging with the electorate.
It is easy to use and well-known.
Canada needs to have a higher representation of indigenous representatives in government like New Zealand does however they still have issues with inequality.
Canada uses first-past-the-post while Finland, Sweden, Norway use party-lists and New Zealand uses mixed-member proportional.
We’re behind countries with proportional representation once again. We the electorate must heavily pressure the 2 big parties to pass electoral reform.
