Using this as a talking point to say they have turned their backs to communism/internationalism is a fed point that you yourself inspired in that thread. Personally I agree with the case it makes. The western left is seriously disconnected from the masses, especially the working class. We need to find a way to reconnect with that base.

The left has an image issue. When people think of the left they don’t think of liberation. That needs to change if we’re ever going to find success.
