Oh video games are a different story yeah. I can handle weird legacy control schemes, but I’m usually just bored by what I’m looking at, and that’ll make me quit first. The further back you go, the more absolute that becomes. Never completely, I have exceptions from any console that I’d argue are timeless.

edit: I guess because the exceptions did something I hadn’t seen before, or nailed what they were going for. Not every idea gets done to death, some are left behind.

But even if that’s a narrow selection of stuff, I keep finding new weird old games to play.

Like I just dsicovered Garage by Kinotrope and I’m having a blast.

The same thing I do with video games: backlog and obscure media hunting. Nothing is too old to consider.

There’s always something old I hadn’t found the last time I went looking. Fan translations or edits included. I lurk originaltrilogy forums.

When that fails I go outside.

Eternal punishment was Rome I thought.

The first 500 years of the cult had already fractured into a few different forks and had very different ideas about afterlife already before Rome picked it up and popularized it as official religion.

    At least that’s my understanding.

Anyways, the actual history of religions should make anyone atheist.
