Thanks for the info, I don’t do a lot of image cross-posting. I think I’ve got it fixed. I double-checked via the following:

Good for him, but this is pretty much an Orphan-Crushing Machine moment.
This image is OC art by @teagrrl@lemmy.ml . This is a cross-post from the community !glitch_art@lemmy.ml, where they just started posting about a month ago. I believe it’s made without AI (but obviously edited on a computer at some point). Anyway, a lot of it has a cyberpunk feel to it, so the whole community’s worth checking out.
As far as cover art, I prefer the US 1899 first edition, which is just a dark castle on a hill. (with a tan cover – that could be better I guess).
Funny thing about the 1901 sixpenny paperback art – I zoomed in to look at it closer and I coulda sworn it said “Batman” in the lower right-hand corner!
I read this meme then went back to sleep, and had a dream that I was freeloading at Cicero’s swimming pool while he wasn’t around and I woke up when I heard his wife Terentia coming home.
(yeah I know Cicero wasn’t involved in the assassination and I dunno if he had a swimming pool but I just had to tell someone.)
There’s also a cat shelter in the excavated area: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Largo_di_Torre_Argentina
That’s only for Kraftwerk.
It’s an interesting case… the dryer image looks AI-generated (bc of the weird controls at the top) and the little hamster-outfit also looks generated (bc of the belt ornament) but it looks like several elements were manually edited together:
Note the lighting differences in the hamster-outfit and in the green outfit.
CAVEAT: I’m not familiar with the latest AI-generation tools, maybe this is just what it looks like now. Also, I’m not defending this “nurungi hamster” person, they coulda just taken a picture of a dryer.

Let me guess… you’re from Europe…
Here in the US the main obstacle is the lock on the phone which usually police can’t get past,
In recent years police were able to get into phones quite easily. See this nytimes article: https://archive.is/fOTDz Not sure what the current state of the art is.
Finally got a chance to listen to this all the way through, and… it’s interesting. I gotta say I respect Al for revisiting his earlier stuff and giving us another version to listen to. A lot of times I prefer the originals, but I recognize that other people might like the newer stuff better.
I like New Wave OK but I didn’t “love” Ministry’s early stuff… “Every Day is Halloween” is the only song on this album whose original really means a lot to me, and I don’t know what it gains by having Al sounding tougher on it. Like the whole point of the song is the narrator’s being picked on unjustly so it’s natural that he should sound a little whiny. The new version also added a little synth trill that I don’t really like. But everybody looks cool in the new video so that’s good I guess.
I think the new take works best on the last couple songs, when Ministry was starting to adopt their “tough guy” sound but hadn’t had a lot of practice yet: Just Like You, We Believe, and Over the Shoulder. Of the older stuff, I’m Not an Effigy works pretty well (though I don’t really remember the original…) But again, props to Al for revisiting this stuff and giving a fresh take on it.
Killer set, I listened to it while cooking and I started bopping and striking poses.
We now have 666 subscribers! To celebrate I figured I’d post some Luna13 at midnight. I saw them open for Hocico a year or two back and Luna13 was the best act of the night.
In addition to his native English, he is also fluent in Spanish, Italian, French, and Portuguese, and can read Latin and German.[86]

I’m not a huge fan of the Catholic church, but this cartoon is just stupid. The man lived in Peru for over 10 years and is a dual US/Peruvian citizen.
Dunno about the rest of PA, but Pittsburgh’s no walk in the park either.
Nah, just duct-tape something flexible and non-scratchable over the gap. Attach this picture nearby for when people ask why.
The equation produced a large number of speedraptors, but only the velociraptors survived over evolutionary time, because the non-velocity-aware speedraptors kept chasing their prey in the wrong direction.
lol fam’s got other stuff to do no doubt. I’m just glad they post as much as they do.

It’s in the southern end of the square, there should be a sign and some steps down, looks like it’s open noon-4:30. When I was there in 2019 there were a couple of rooms full of cats being sheltered for various reasons and you could go hang out with them, dunno about now.
There’s also a cat shelter in the Non-catholic Cemetery (where Keats, Shelley, and Gramsci are buried) by the Pyramid of Cestius but that one wasn’t open to the public last I saw. Usually cats wandering in the cemetery tho.
