Update. Yeah, I think it was just my browser being weird. Tried it again a few minutes ago on the same browser and now its loading a scrollable list. So weird. I reloaded the page a few times to make sure it wasn’t some sort of error.

I explore a bit once in a while, but I would say I have the same feeling. I just don’t have the time to just waste away most of the time. He’ll, even when I do find something I really want to watch I end up procrastinating and take forever to finish a series.

Somehow dodged that one. Actually, now that I think about it, I missed all the greatest hits like Animal Farm, Fahrenheit 451, etc. And its not like there weren’t teachers that assigned it, I just happened to not be in their class lol.

I can see a list of jobs on the home page, but I have to fine tune it with my preferences. But if I want to do a regular search it just shows me one result at a time? Why? I’m not going to dedicate a significant amount of time reading each listing in the same way most of these places aren’t going to take much time reading my resume/application.

I think things are reaching a breaking point. The crew member that recently got promoted is starting to see more of what it is I went through whenever we were short staffed and he’s had enough. Honestly if I were confident enough that I could get more people agitated and organized I would start to do it, but I know him and he’s been really anti-union whenever we’ve talked about unions in general. The next biggest obstacle being that all the other leads/managers are close with our boss from a previous project they worked on.

So all I have left is just to hit the job market and see what upper management wants to do in the meantime. If they get serious about giving us a proper head count then I might just stay, but the number of times they’ve “thought” about it in the past few years doesn’t give me any confidence that they’ve ever been serious about staffing our locations properly.
