Yea of course it is a “software” feature every motor in a ev is controlled by software that switches power electronics. “Dissconnecting” the phases of the motor so it wont recoup while is spins is still neutral. Or is “neutral” only a thing that a automatic transmission can do? If i put my manual out of gear is it then not in neutral? People dont want the manufacturer to install a clutch to physicly dissconnect the motors from the drivetrain but they want to be able to let the car roll without it braking by recharging the battery or dumping the power as heat into the powerstage.

And by the way yes most evs still habe gears just with a fixed ratio because if the motor was directly connected to your axle full motor rpm would be way faster than your max road speed you can drive.

Also the time it would take to build new power plants and get them to run would be something lile 20-25 years. We dont have that much time to get a grip on climate change so it doesnt matter annyways. Either we get 100% renewables untill then or we are fucked annyways.

Der witz ist ja, dass es ja kein Problem ist, die Stecker nicht brennen zu lassen. Früher gab es mehrere power stages die gebalanced wurden, da hatte man pro 8 pin 2 stages die gleichmäßig strom gezogen haben. Wenn dann ein stecker nicht richtig sitzt und eine der beiden stages nicht genug bzw keinen strom ziehen kann geht die graka nicht. Jetzt hat nvidia nach dem 12hpwr alle leitungen zusammengefür und danach die powerstages. Jetzt kann mman im prinzip ein einzelnes der kabel eines steckers anschließen und es juckt die graka nicht weil sie es nicht merken kann. Einfach dumm, nur weil man sich ein paar cent an shutwiderständen spaaren will… bei einer Karte die 2000€+ kostet.

I dont think you understand the difference between a lossless file format/encoding algorithm and “losless” recording/storing of signals. If anyone ever speaks of a lossless encoding algorith theyy mean that avter encoding and decoding the input and output will be the same e.g nithing was lost. Why would the recording have annything to do with the lossyness of the encoding algorithm? If the music was made digitally there would be no loss in any sense since the output of your daw or midi file etc is already digital. Btw in general you just cant record any arbitrary analog signal but you can record a lot of it. You will also never in no media be able to store the exact signal. There is always noise always some variation. Even if you store your signal analog there is only so much variance of the magnetic field in a tape and only so many atoms of height difference in the groove of your vynil. The thought of lossless recording is just dumb if you think about it because you change the signal by measuring it annyway so what even is the “original” signal?

If you need to supply your rural area or town you will go from some 20kv lines down to lots of 3kv and then 400v lines with multiple transformers everywhere. Dc transmission doesnt make sense here, but supplying a grid from really far away with a single line? Yea.

Yea have fun transmitting a decent amount of power with 240v over a meaningfull distance. Also most generators produce ac anyways so why would you recitify it at the generator instead of your device after a transformer? You still need all kinds of different voltages everywhere in your electronics and this means you still need to regulate it.

I am not shure how the american wirering worls out but to get from 240 to 120 you still need a transformer… or is it 240v between the different phases and then 120 from phase to neutral?

Ja eben, wenn wir bis in 20 jahren nicht eh fast ausschließlich erneuerbar sind, brauchen wir eh keine neuen mehr bauen. Warum also Atomkraftwerke als Lösung darstellen? Der Punkt ist ja dass wir nicht die Zeit haben durch Atomkraftwerke irgend etwas zu gewinnen. Das ist so ein fdp “zukunftslösungs”-Gebrabbel was die fdp auch immer macht damit man keine konkreten lösungen bringen muss. Noch besser wäre es wenn man sagt das die Fusionsreaktoren bei denen wir ja bestimmt bald einen durchbruch haben unsere probleme in Zukunft lösen…

Interessant, also was konkreten Umweltschutz angeht ist Atomkraft ja keine Option, da wir eh keine Reaktoren mehr haben die wir einfach ans Netz klemmen könnten um z.b kohlekraftwerke abschalten zu können und die 15-20 jahre um neue zu bauen auch nicht, da wir bis dann eh so weit auf erneuerbaren sein müssen dass wir die dann auch nicht mehr brauchen. Das ist irgendwie genau das Problem mit volt, die geben vor progressiv zu sein und stellen irgendeinene idee in den Raum die halt nur im Wahlprogramm auf den ersten Blick gut klingt aber quatsch ist wenn man sich länger gedanken darüber macht.

Ich kann echt nur empfehlen mal auf den volt youtube kanal zu gehen und sich ne halbe Stunde von dem anzuhören was die partei tatsächlich sagt.

Beispiel “volt vs linke” von volt deutschland eigenem kanal. Punkt 1 volt ist der Meinungen Verstaatlichung der kraftwerkbetreiber und des Netzes ist keine gute idee sondern man sollte “klimatechnologien fördern und nutzen” (vergesellschaftung der investition und privatisierung der Gewinne)… hat im Gesundheitssystem ja auch so gut geklappt. Ein europäisches Netzt haben wir ja jetzt auch schon mehr oder weniger, Deutschland ist ja keine insel, das würde ja nichts ändern da wir nicht ei fach so strom von deutschland nach spanien transportieren können wenn hier der Wind gut weht.

Also das weckt gerade mein interesse, warum findest du vomt wählbar? Wenn du sagst, dass du vorher die grünen gewählt hast, was sind deine 2 oder 3 Hauptthemen die das entscheiden? Wie bist du zu dem Schluss gekommen dass volt wählbar ist?

Volt verkörpert in vielen dingen doch genau das was die fdp immer schon gemacht hat. Nur im wahl-o-mat hat sie jiele Übereinstimmungen mit dem eher liberalen wähler aber nur auf den ersten blick. Ich finde volt ist eher eine hipster Fdp die sich nicht so traut das so richtig zu zeigen.

Wenn man etwas gräbt und sich im wahlomat dann auch mal die antworten auf die Fragen der parteien ansieht statt nur das Ergebnis der Prozentzahl die am Ende raus kommt ist da meiner Meinung nach wenig substanz hinter.

Auch auf deren yt kanal in dem doe themen behandeln, auf Fragen eingehen und ihr wahlprogramm erklären, wird dann z.b erzählt dass man ja zur Lösung der Klimakrise startups fördern wird und auf neue Technologie setzt. Bei sozialem ist da auch nichts ernsthaftes bei, lediglich das Thema digitales ist ein Punkt den volt ernsthaft angeht aber da gibt es im Zweifel auch noch andere.

I dont know how you would stretch the definition of cpu in form of discrete components but yea current processors also stray from the definition of a alu and a control unit and registers since people call the different cores cpus. But even a Mikrocontroller has a all that.

You need a cpu to run linux. If you just want to rin a “program” you can do that with logic gates and no alu or control unit but that would limit the form of your program to exactly that circuit.
