We know this because of the bumper stickers informing us “There’s no U in LABOR”
I’d like to know how the morons rocking these are spelling Liberal.

My old phone did this, I replaced it straight away but forgot to dispose of it. It’s been sitting on my kitchen bench for… wow, 15 months now.
Does it matter? If the edgy 14 year olds aren’t contributing anything you consider worth your time then block them anyway.
I’m surprised your cops aren’t all being forced to drive them. I’d love to see that.
Thank you for sharing. Excuse me.
This is not a real tweet
Honestly, without this I would have had no idea. I looked at his X page & his posts are such a shitshow that it legitimately could have been real (at least, an actual “joke” that he’d make), then I couldn’t see any way to sort the posts to find the most recent ones because the UI is pretty bad.
They abused a loophole, started doing this before getting permits, and then they & the relevant government agencies ignored the affected people when they complained. So basically, there will be no consequences and nobody who doesn’t live there will even remember this by tomorrow when some other horrible crime is committed.
Hello, I live on the opposite side of the world and I do not have a job that in any way requires me to stay informed about the world. I was well aware.
His stock portfolio is still worth more than any of us will see in a hundred thousand lifetimes. Doesn’t feel like an up side.
Even without time zones, 5am is an hour from the end of my work night. I’m absolutely sitting around on my phone at that point. I just looked at the clock and it’s 5:02am, so it legit would have been 5 on the dot when I saw this.
Agent 47 doesn’t deserve this
Yeah, I was honest, I assume she was just one of those people who has never had to work long or unusual hours. A lot of people can’t wrap their heads around the fact that night shift workers need to sleep during the day, and that a few hours to hang out in the afternoon at the end of an 8h shift is very different to that same few hours before a 12h overnight.
That said, she was awful to deal with, so maybe she just didn’t care. All of the management was. My direct manager at one point was fired because his wife (definitely not a nepo hire) embezzled half a million over a few years.
I like it, this is my third time through the series. The first two were audiobooks but since then I got my own place and was able to start a proper book collection, so this time through I’m taking my time and reading physically. The next book should be out this year hopefully, Butcher has finished writing it according to his site.
I got chewed out for not going to a company bowling party once because I was working that night and asked for overtime if I went. I was doing security patrols which in that job meant 12-hour overnight shifts that were mostly driving, and I refused to lose 3 hours of sleep so I could go out before work. The HR lady or whatever she was couldn’t understand why I refused to go even though she so thoughtfully planned it outside of work hours. Oh, forgot to mention, she and the other admin people were on the clock of course, just not us night shifters.
How harsh are the penalties for using your phone while driving over there?
I’ve barely read or listened to anything for over a year, now suddenly I have 9 books/audiobooks on the go. Most are things that everyone has read or heard about anyway, and almost all are part of a series Ive talked about too much over the years so I don’t have too much to say 🤷♂️
Audio:
The Wise Man’s Fear by Pat Rothfuss when I’m jogging
Words of Radiance by Sanderson at work
Daughter of the Dragon by Michael G Manning at home
Books on rotation chapter by chapter:
White Night by Jim Butcher
River Marked by Patricia Briggs
The Blade Itself by Joe Abercrombie
The Hungry Isle by Emily Rodda
The Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett
Manga: Uzumaki by Junji Ito
Even if this is true and not just performative bullshit, why should anyone care what he has to say. Plenty of people think it’s horrific, let’s listen to those who didn’t push for it to happen.
I wrote that then decided to actually read the article first instead of commenting on the headline just in case it said something like “Joe said this, but he’s a piece of shit so he should fuck off anyway” but nope. I stand by my original comment.
Man, imagine that being your biggest problem. I’ve been working 13 hour shifts, 5 days a week for the last month because one of my coworkers had a family emergency and I have to cover for him. I’d love to say I can sympathise with this loser, but his job is literally just to be an asshole online which doesn’t even require getting out of bed. I just wish all of these people could be forced to live in the real world for a while.
