I listened to an interview with a Trump-voting farmer who was suffering because of tariffs. She knew tariffs were the problem. She stated repeatedly that tariffs were the problem. She could not bring herself to the logical endpoint in that ultimately this was Trump’s fault, instead blaming “the government” for it. They are not ever going to be productive members of society unless they can be deprogrammed from the cult.
