From my own personal view I find it very difficult to disagree with every part of your second sentence.
If you really really really want to know you can go look at blahaj’s mod log - but I warn you that some of the stuff removed can be particularly mean, obscene, illegal etc…
I’ve used Linux Mint for about ten years. I’ve used terminal once - only because that specific laptop had some trackpad or WiFi (can’t remember which) issue. I just typed in a few lines and that was it.
