I’ve added stuff in and around where I’ve walked using streetcomplete. I think it’s fun but definitely a drop in the bucket…
It’s always better to fix yourself if you can. Anonymous notes are not always looked at unless you’ve really put a good explanation. If you just wrote “wrong toll booth location” it’s probably not going to be fixed indeed. You can share your notes link here if you want and maybe somebody will fix it seeing it here. If you don’t have an account then contributors can’t ask follow up questions either…
Edit: just saw you linked it and it was resolved sorry
You can always add any restaurant to open street map so that it comes up in Organic Maps of course. That’s what I do most of the time when I can’t find something on there. Streetcomplete isn’t a bad android app to get started if you’ve never contributed to OSM before.
If you want a non US soda cola there are plenty of alternatives a bit everywhere…
There’s even one created in 2023 to fund aid to Gaza… Articles from Al Jazeera and Jerusalem Post. They are based in London.
Qwant is a disaster. Just go read their Wikipedia page. Gouging public money for essential being an ecosia without sending money to plant trees…
Could have sworn the @dansup@pixelfed.social was Canadian. His github has Canada as location.
Ils ont des assedics speciaux les deputés, je ne sais pas pour les autres élus
Les Fillons doivent rendre pas mal d’argent à l’AN cependant…
Souns pretty good. Give years is probaboy longer than how long most people keep the same phone nowadays.
Maybe the legal organisation is based in Switzerland.
Or maybe the Department of Education could provide to young people an email adress for free. (Snail) mail has never been free afterall (you pay for stamps) so not having a free government service would be new.
There is also the abiltity to create a substack like wordpress website if you want that.
As others have said Nextcloud has a calendar, viewable via the webam or thubderbird (can also use the tasks) and any floss calendar app really on android or even the one installed by default probably.
There are a few orgs that permit creating an account so you can avoid selfhosting. Some like from Framasoft are donation funded.
It is not new that media companies get bought…
It’s also a lie as the EU announced retaliatary tariffs and now it’s back to 10%. The retaliatary tariffs have been suspended however.
Est-ce que ça aura un impact sur le prix de vente aux particuliers ou c’est juste une coupe pour augmenter les marges d’EDF et compagnie ?
Funny how they mention reddit. Reminds me of the Facebook groups too. I know it’s nitpicking in a way but whatever…
Edit : nice list but is Pixelfed not from Canada?
As a Google Maps alternative I could recommend Osmand and Cartes.
