  • Okay I have the jig clamped to a board here. I use a bit with a 3/4” diameter. If I run it down the length of this jig it will cut a 3/4” dado. So to make the jig I glued a piece of 1/4” plywood onto a wider piece of 1/4” plywood. Then I used a 3/4” router bit to cut through the wider piece by running it against the glued on upper piece.

    So wherever I clamp this jig is exactly where my 3/4” dado will go
