I remember back when it used to be full of experts or professionals talking educated sense about things. Then I noticed the general standard dropping down to about my level of intelligence/knowledge - which is not great - and then sinking ever lower to the point it’s barely worth reading anymore.

I think what this shows is that the idea of communism attracts the worst type of people as leaders. They enjoy being in charge of everything about a country, and/or can’t believe people don’t act the way communist theory says they would act under communism, so kill them for being corrupt traitors in order to fix the system.

That’s the annoying thing… I had a feeling about 5+ years ago you could buy them discontinued at the supermarket itself the week after easter. Nowadays it seems they get rid of the entire stock at midnight on Sunday

Had a neighbour who would shout and cheer at the telly when the footie was on, as if he was actually there at the match, or at least in company. He wasn’t. Watched it alone. I found the whole thing kind of sad, and annoying.

Meanwhile, my neighbours heard about 30 seconds of me shouting shit & fuck in the garden the other day, as I missed a step, broke a metatarsal and rolled my ankle.

Definitely this. Though annoyingly, the one CEC command I have issues with is turning the Shield off doesnt always turn the TV off too. Only works about half the time. Thankfully, the TV turns off by itself after 2 mins with no signal, but still a bit annoying
