  • yeah actually i do like the rdr2 open world a lot more than gta5. i like rdr2 in general a lot more than gta5, its a far better open world, but still far from the gold standard. the shooting is too basic to be a primary mechanic, that’s my biggest issue with that game, but i really enjoy pretty much everything else. especially dressing up my sad dying cowboy in a fun flirty outfit

  • GTA 5 was boring as fuck, one of the only games I would genuinely consider overhyped. Usually when I don’t like a popular game I can see the appeal of it for other people, but there is fuck all to actually do in GTA 5. Yeah, you can drive around and shoot things, but the shooting is pretty bland and there’s no reason at all to get into random gunfights. The driving is decent, but if I wanted to play a driving game, then I would play Forza or something. There’s character customisation, but the outfits are extremely limited and boring, mostly just variations of shirts and pants, there’s minigames like darts for some reason, there’s fake social media and an in-game phone camera, but there is no point to doing anything. Nothing feels satsifying. I just fuck about for half an hour then get bored. The in-game economy is dogshit, you go from having nothing to everything extremely quickly and money very quickly becomes meaningless, so there’s no goals to strive for. Like I can’t stress enough how there is no point to getting more money, because all you can buy is guns which kill people with the same effectiveness as most other guns, cars to customise, and properties to get more money so you can buy more properties. Red dead 2 was the exact same, a few hours in money becomes meaningless because the Valentine bank robbery will set you up for life, and that’s in the first third of the game. There are no more upgrades to be bought, all you can buy is beans. It gets a pass for having a great story and letting me ride on and rob trains, GTA 5 is just nothing.

anyway yeah i probably wont get gta6

  • I have similar issues, but a lot of the time when I have tasks to do that I’m avoiding, I don’t even enjoy what I’m doing. I just play video games or watch something I’ve seen before or doomscroll until I get bored, and its like, if I did a task, at least I would be bored and productive. The only task I really like doing is cooking, but I dread cleaning so I try to use as few utensils as possible, which usually means I cook very bland meals. I’m not diagnosed with autism but I do have adhd and executive dysfunction can be an absolute nightmare. Its like, in my head a task will take fifteen minutes, but I would rather spend hours doing nothing and being bored, not even having fun, than a boring task for fifteen minutes. I’m not satisfied when I’m not doing productive things, but I dread doing productive things and try to avoid them as much as I can

  • I see a lot of recipes on my Instagram, and something that really annoys me is when people just lie about what they’re making. I see something like “three ingredient dinner” and the three ingredients don’t include seasonings or sauces. Those are ingredients! Those count towards prep time and budget! Also when something is advertised as a 20 minute meal, and it starts with preparing something the night before and leaving it in the fridge or whatever. That’s not a 20 minute meal, that’s a 24 hour meal! Stop lying to me! The worst I saw was sa budget meal, where the guy said the garlic was free because he was able to get it for free at a local market. Bro. You have to account for the price of things when you make a meal. Most people can’t just get free garlic. That’s like going to a friend’s house and saying that the meal is free because your friend bought all the ingredients, not you. That is not how a budget works. Also when they count the price of a meal by the proportion of an ingredient, like saying that a teaspoon of spices costs 1 cent. You can’t just go and buy 1 cent worth of spices, you go and buy the whole spice thing, so I would count the whole spice thing as a part of the budget
