There is a brave search engine that has its own site index, but it does not have an open source, but as an alternative, you can use searx, which will index sites from brave if you configure it.

Open Source@lemmy.ml•GitHub - jpzk/opensidian: A privacy-first, open-source platform for knowledge management and collaboration.
11·6 天前in my experience, it’s still a bit unstable for everyday use, but there are more convenient alternatives like Logseq or siyuan.
you can try CutWire Drift on the website https://cutwire.org/drift or librecuts, which is located in f-droid
I don’t like reddit, because there is such a moderation, that any of your posts may not pass moderation, although the post complies with the rules of the community, so I ended up here, but the problem is that almost all the questions on the site are answered here, but this also applies to youtube🫤

Open Source@lemmy.ml•Finally, there is an advanced, user-friendly, open-source drawing app for Android🥳
2·17 天前Yes, it’s just hard for me to write without emotions :D

3·18 天前Yes, I corrected the text and this app that you mentioned as a simple drawing for notes is even suitable, I didn’t even know how long ago Pocket Paint appeared, thanks for mentioning😃

9·18 天前yes you’re right, I mean the app to draw on regular phones, Krita is more suitable for a tablet with a stylus, and I love that now there are different alternatives for creativity🎨

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What do you love about AI? (Good vibes only please)
2·26 天前AI ends up with more problems, but if you look for advantages, then what, useful open source programs with specific necessary functionality have appeared, which without AI would have appeared several years later, if at all, and I like speech-to-text conversion that can work locally, but video generation is a pointless and even harmful technology, in my opinion
I’m waiting for a machine to appear with an operating system with an source code, it would be funny
deleted by creator
I usually use the official Lemmy client in the browser, because it is minimalistic and fast on any device

DeGoogle Yourself@lemmy.ml•Is there an open-source screen translator for Android that isn’t made by Google?
2·1 个月前There’s a new app that seems to translate text on the screen https://github.com/dominostars/playtranslate

but I think this search engine has a closed source code, if it doesn’t mention it on your site, because almost all sites of the program with open source code write about it, you can read it here. https://alternativeto.net/software/mojeek/about/
