I love this. Its so full of fantastical elements, but still has a tinge of realism. It makes me think of the refuges in the alpes. My absolute favorite is the tower top within an even older tower, I wonder if they inspired themselves of a landmark.

Dude take the time to curate your experience, any “all” section is going to provide you theses feelings especially when the world is hurting. The human brain imo was never supposed to be exposed by such esoteric kinds of news, from everywhere, at once, and is maybe telling you something through theses feelings.

And no, this isint an “unplug yourself from the internet”. It’s about taking the time about considering WHAT you are doing on the internet in the first space, WHAT you want to accomplish. Living on the internet without purpose, perpetually bored and looking for something without knowing why, without at least <u>selecting</u> what information you are consuming, digesting, integrating (whether you want to or not) into your everyday life.

I ignore news that don’t concern me, my family, city or country. The rest is labeled under “societal spectacle”, drama that I cant change unless i have to stop working and dedicate a whole life to fix that problem. Its ok to admit “bugger this” and just turning off the news, if only a while.

Its good to stay informed but I can hardly point at a piece of “news” that absolutly changed my life, career, relationships etc…

It feels like you have to build a skill that sorts news into “I cant do shit about this, (because of valid reasons)” and “wait what are they gutting from my social services that I paid for most of my life through taxes?”.
