the “excuse” is that AI doesn’t have an upfront cost (or at least not as expensive) or waiting period.
with a human you have to pay a lot and wait for them to finish and you might not even like the finished result, but with AI, it can shit out 20 different versions of what you want and you can pick and choose.
for the average person that’s all they care about, they don’t give a fuck that it actually cost a fuckton of energy, or that it had to steal thousands of hours of real human work and effort in seconds to “magically” make their slop appear.

1·22 days agoInteresting, Kirby Air Ride had achievement boards for all the race modes built into the game, I would imagine the sequel would likely include something similar. There’s also a couple other games that have had achievements because the console itself didn’t have support for them.

But if I had to choose, 2 or 5. I have 3 at work and while it is nice, I don’t know if it has the same kind of staying power 2 or 5 do.
Hana Kohl and Dah Yis, not a proper caravan by any means, but these two always collect their myrrh drops despite getting easily distracted by adventuring. After a while they’ll start to sell items to your player caravan.
