As a kid, I used to purposely stick my fingers between prongs while plugging Christmas lights in in order to electrocute myself. It’s shocking that I came out from that unscathed.
Against my best judgement, I read the whole thing. (You practically begged me to!) He’s just offering incredibly disingenuous “talking points” for “liberal Christians” that are actually things you might say to an atheist. The whole thing just exists to characterize non-conservative Christians as fake Christians.

2510·6 months agoEven if you truly believe that, just saying that without talking about those instances’ reputation seems… unhelpful, at best. You’re telling someone to join hexbear without telling them how many instances have defederated from it.



Alternatively, if the business world can already handle PDF, then they can surely handle markdown. They’re already easy to open, and just like a PDF is easy (???) to edit as long as you have the right software, Markdown’s easy to get predictable printing out of even with the right* software. I think the PDFs are probably slightly easier for forms, but that’s about it. Everything else is just a matter of familiarity, and imo, it’s easier to get familiar with Markdown.
*If this somehow doesn’t work out, they could surely make do with a standard print preview.
