But also, how tf would they know, anyone notice the amount of research done on women, they know nothing about menopause, something that’s extremely debilitating for 50% of the population. They don’t even know anything about the bits they do know about. I bet there’s more to learn, based on that, alone.

Yeah, emotional intelligence is hugely overlooked, too, when interpreting what others say, and to also not be swept up by every little thing, and that low eq breeds for resentment, which is rife for the brainwashing that propaganda is. We all need to be focusing on teaching the next Gen how to step outside their emotions, as an observer, and reflect on the message they are for oneself, not a cue for how to treat others, or define oneself by, and to look inside and heal, or self care, if those emotional messages are extreme. That’s your own little tamagotchi to care for. It’s not even iq, it’s eq (and eq can always be built as high as you want to go) , and the world would be a different place. It’s easy not to care, when you feel like you have been thrown out with the trash, and knee jerk to all your emotions, rather than be an entity that observes your emotions.
ETA, added words, because distraction.
LavaPlanet@sh.itjust.worksto News@lemmy.world•Meta exposé author faces bankruptcy after ban on criticising company3·2 days agoIsn’t she just talking truthfully? Is the truth disparaging, if it is, isn’t it of their own making, how is she to discern, I doubt they have a bar they wouldn’t go below, even they wouldn’t be able to point to the line where something is truthful but disparaging, if that’s a possible description, because doesn’t that then just become a retelling of the facts? Anyone would be hard pressed to find something above board, or even slightly ok about fb. Not even one, non disparaging description or thing, exisits relating to fb. I haven’t read the book, I’m just going by what Zuck has publicly said and done, too.

I completely agree, it’s entirely fascinating, if you have time to converse with someone about the culture of the specific areas of where you live, that would make for brilliant conversation. It’s just that people won’t know the culture, without that conversation, so they might know some of the names of the cities and states, but they wouldn’t know what the people are, generally like, in those areas. If you’re talking with someone who is more familiar, they would understand you’re communicating your beliefs and culture, but anyone outside that lived knowledge, doesn’t understand that, if you mention you’re from a certain place, that means you align with certain beliefs. Although I can certainly understand still leading with that, and maybe more people will get a feel for it, the more you explain and get chances to have those conversations.

Aww, Needs some of that proprioceptive sensory stimulation, but never had the supports to help him find healthy ways to do it. Poor buddy.
You understand differentiation for demographics in certain areas, but no one else does, it just confuses people abroad when you talk about what city you’re from. Like if I started talking about Melbournites, vs sydnesiders you wouldn’t be able to chime in on the conversation.

Optimism is a hugely important quality, it’s focusing on moving forward and seeing the glass half full, and it keeps the darkness out. Pointing out problems is just troubleshooting, and finding ways to be better, that might seem like focusing on the glass half empty, but what if it’s just focusing on achieving a better half full, glass. The important thing is to hold onto what keeps you afloat, especially right now. This is awesome news, whether it needs more work or not.

I have heaps of my own classics, that I regularly rewatch. More recently, though, has anyone seen Kevin can fk himself, holy crap that was perfect. Short but written to be short, and ties up perfectly. There was just a harmony to it. I was yelling at the telly, I know they’re good when I start yelling at the telly.
I wonder if it’s a symptom of the great age of misinformation, in such that, people can’t trust anything they read, and therefore create or believe propaganda, that was previously discarded. Like how there’s a whole heap of people believing the 50’s propaganda when they had to tell all the women who were working “man” jobs, earning their own money and doing all the things that they were actually happier just slave labouring at home with no rights to vote or have a bank account etc, and they put out all this propaganda in the adds etc at the time to shove women back in the box, and they were all depressed af, and had to take drugs to get through the misery of their day, and all that propaganda was discarded, eventually, but this big wave of a certain type of person is cherry picking mystical meaning from that era. You know. Like that.

They rigged the game so no one else can climb the same ladder they did. But, also, death throes look like this. They positioned themselves so that the entire populous of the earth can’t sustain life, unless they don’t. That imbalance is about to be corrected. It’s gunna get a little bit worse before it gets better though, hang on.

You know, they used to not separate sports by gender, until the ladies started beating the men. Then all of a sudden, nah we gotta split em up. So, even if their argument had any kind of validity, it still doesn’t.
