Well, the issue isn’t Signal being bad, it’s a government official who violates FOIA requirements because apparently what he says is too damning to be scrutinized.
If full time Walmart employees need government assistance programs to afford food and pay their rent, is it not Walmart who is leaning on government assistance?

Yeah it’s one thing for regular people to do this, but I think media just keeps digging and it’s beyond repulsive. They would rather do anything but journalism and in this case journalism means sitting for 2 days reading in the comfort of your home… There’s always been a debate between whether it’s purposeful or lazy and I think I’ve gravitated towards lazy on the part of hosts and writers and purposeful on the part of decision makers that they’d hire people so opposed to work in the first place. Mehdi researched heavily and was removed… it seemed like executives fixing the glitch of accidental good journalism.
Giving everyone 5k would more meaningfully improve birth rates than asking educated young people worried about their future childrens’ standard of living to take a leap for the cost of one small medical emergency.
If they’re so worried about rich flight, why don’t they seize their assets or nationalize their companies if they do? Thanks for our warehouses asshole
Strong is a relative social phrase built almost entirely on what others allow your strength to be. If everyone called his bluff, he’d have nothing but cope to show for it.
In theory my dialog choices are better and more plentiful, but in practice that timer is real short and so my answer is to always stall, “Um… hmm.” Telltale hard mode out here
RICO charges are famously one of the hardest things to prove in existence. Perhaps if they want to fast track gang-related crimes in the courts they could reduce the barriers… I’m sure that wouldn’t come back to bite them specifically.
I think normalizing anti-social behavior as a virtue is something to add on there too. We’re all supposed to be confident nuisances to impress each other based on popular trends, but if anyone acted that way to us, we’d be upset. When upset, we don’t think about our behavior; we think about revenge.
Unforgiveable implies that there can be no mistake about the negative side effects for even the dumbest among us before committing the act. Torture is about as intentionally cruel as it gets.
Some other suggestions here are frequently used under the umbrella of torture, for example, by the IDF.
Gotcha, thanks for the explanation
From working with lab equipment, you’d be surprised how quickly results turn to unreliable slop if not consistently calibrated. Is that what you’re saying is being skipped?
The article really didn’t do a good job of explaining. Would this be the equivalent of CAPP inspections where one lab will audit another?
It will play great to people proudly stating they’re in, “The party of Lincoln” who also prefer the traitor flag to our real one and shit themselves if you remove a statue of a traitor erected 50 years after the civil war to intimidate black people. No self-awareness at all with these people.
Truly, this is the most relatable sisyphean trial of modernity.
Elon can’t be trusted with a literal sovereign nation, but I guess between The Vatican and US… What’s he gonna do with it, harbor predators?
A Tesla would turn off autopilot and roll to it’s own death if it thought a person couldn’t survive the crash and needed to absolve itself for crash scene investigators.
Probably more fair to go with standard enterprise drives like Exos or ultrastar
That person is Stephen Miller. The way he talks is as if Trump has no limitations at all on anything, and Trump behind him looks as if Stephen calls all the shots.
I agree with people saying at least 1080p but more. Upscaling is quite good now and makes little difference for the enjoyment of a film whether you can read the newspaper on the desk in the corner… Unless you’re a film buff who likes Easter eggs maybe
Never been so happy to be so wrong. I’m glad he’s alive and functional, more Democrats need to follow up on the realities on the ground level.
If the most you can muster to defend a judge who didn’t want to act as a deputized federal agent for ICE is, “The way the FBI went about this was unprofessional.” Then perhaps you shouldn’t be interviewed on matters of fascism.
