Eureka Seven is a really good show! It’s probably one of the better ones that I saw bits and pieces of on TV back in the day that I’ve returned to. It’s in conversation with Mobile Suit Gundam and Neon Genesis Evangelion in a way that’s pretty interesting, too.
I’m curious how you’ll feel about the second season of 00. The messy second half and team of Gundam boys always reminded me of Gundam Wing.
My library only stocks super popular manga (understandably), and I’ve been thinking about giving this one a shot. Hope it’s cool!

Attack of the Friday Monsters! by Kaz Ayabe (of Boku no Natsu Yasumi fame) and Crimson Shroud by Yasumi Matsuno (of Final Fantasy Tactics game) are among my favorites.

Watching: .hack//sign, man this is a weird one, only 2 episodes in so we’ll see if it gets better.
I rewatched this one a year or so ago after being a huge fan of the franchise back when the PS2 games were out. The music is the highlight, but I felt like //sign left me wanting to replay the games (which I promptly bounced off of lol). The //liminality OVA was pretty cool - I’d recommend that as a follow up.
Fang of the Sun Dougram: Finally finished this one after almost a year. The only other Ryosuke Takahashi work I’d seen was Votoms, but I think I’m a pretty big fan of his now. Anyone looking for a guerilla warfare focused, anti-imperialist Gundam show - it’s here!
