9·2 years agoEveryone playing seasons has to start a new character. You also don’t have access to your old stash / gear.
Especially for those who play with friends it can be really fun to put everyone at the exact same point again and allow you all to play through again. Seasons are usually big updates that add new unique / legendary items, new gameplay mechanics, new quests, etc. You play the season, get whatever loot and whatnot you can, and (if you want to) try to rise up the seasonal leaderboards. Once the season is over, you can move your character over to a “non-seasonal” character and continue to play them whenever. At this point, Diablo also merges those changes, new loot, etc. into the general game for everyone to get.
So you can generally get all the seasonal stuff later on even if you don’t play the season, but you have a better chance of getting seasonal loot during the season.
That’s basically it.

0·2 years agoJellyfin would be fine for “just me”. Unfortunately I need the media server to be super simple, so that the rest of my house can navigate without issues. Unfortunately IME Jellyfin is not there… yet.
I love it’s growth and I keep a close eye, but I’m still mainly using Plex for now. I run Emby and JF alongside it as well. As it currently stands, I think from an end user perspective it’s Plex > Emby > Jellyfin, but I’m looking forward to the day I can fully move to JF.
That said, I think they’re all getting really close.
OK so I’m not crazy, this is basically just karma then, yeah? Just like “client side calculated” (I’m assuming at least, if Lemmy doesn’t have native support for a concept like karma) karma lol
Excuse me if I’m just dense, but when I look at peoples profiles in wefwef, it shows me their comment score and post score.
Is that somehow different from what Karma was?

The dev just added compact mode like hours ago! Go check for updates and it will be in your settings.

Xbox and PC Gamepass launched with an older version of the game than Steam waiting for MS to approve the update.
It just got patched this afternoon, I imagine it runs better now. Although, I had only minimal problems launching and playing the game from PC Gamepass this weekend.
