How goes the research? I’m genuinely mind blown by this haha

You could replace every mention of “WB” in there with “Bungie” and it would still be true
That’s where I’m going wrong! I’m missing the viola. Hopefully my distro has it in their repo!
Looks like a table he made himself, in OneNote I think
Not even close to being a replacement currently. I’m hoping it gets there though
Where did I say you had said it was ready? I answered your question on what “ready” means in the context. Talk about putting words in people’s mouths…
Given we’re talking about a Discord replacement and you say voice and video are still being worked on I’d say it’s not ready to replace Discord smh
Maybe you should given your closing sentence is incorrect and just bolsters the fact we shouldn’t blindly take everything we see at face value
I use plasma and had no idea this was a thing. Thank you
Nope, just something nsfw. Yours was the first one in the comments when I was scrolling
This is exactly what we were all scrolling for haha
Well this backfired on OP
I was playing DMC: Devil May Cry (the prequel one) and they used a bunch of mount commands on a screen to show Virgil hacking the network
How’s peripheral support these days?
For example I have a Logitech keyboard and mouse, G Hub doesn’t have Linux support so I’d be unable to use some functionality.
I know there is software for changing lighting but in my experience it’s not great. Lighting profiles didn’t stick between reboots for example. I also can’t do things like setup macros or bind keys to the G keys on my keyboard or mouse buttons.
I’ll definitely take that into account.
As an example though, I use the AUR for the arr packages. If not from the AUR, where else would I get them? Would I need to clone the git and build them myself instead?
Thank you for the very detailed explanation! Makes sense now. I was of the mindset that Manjaro is an Arch derivative making it technically Arch and didn’t really take the repos etc into account. Makes sense why they advise against the use of AUR
You’ve opened my eyes haha.
I appreciate the response, I always worry asking “noob” questions from all the elitist horror stories you hear around Linux
Sorry for my ignorance, Linux noob here, but what do you both mean by Manjaro isn’t Arch?
I may be misunderstanding here and feel free to correct me if I’m wrong but I was of the understanding that Mint wasn’t a good gaming platform because of the fact it’s not bleeding edge
How did you know my plans??
