Im unfortunate to live in a country where the police can now quite easily enter a residents home and take their computer and use any data on it against them. Encryption can at least slow their nefarious efforts. I think most people should utilize encryption.

I’m in favor of a heavy handed push towards encryption, I think most people don’t realize how important this is (now more than ever), but windows should be guiding and educating on this not requiring, and it should have absolutely nothing to do with an email address or online account.

Well no shit. How is this headline news? Who’s disillusioned enough to think that the Republicans wouldn’t? Republican is now just a euphemism for fascist.

That looks nothing like my yard but still don’t see as many LBs as I used to. People blame yards like the one here and pesticides, but I don’t know. I felt like in the 80s and 90s there was an even bigger obsession with manicured yards and people found the most toxic stuff they could get their hands on to spray around their homes. Still had tons of lightening bugs then.

I deal with a lot of old records and boy I really prefer iso when you have to look at a lot of dates and things are in all different years, it’s helpful. Have you tried ISO? I also do a lot of international work and haven’t heard complaints about it being confusing.

Guilty of that myself this very day. I did it a very spectacular way too. Some coworkers came up to me and said “man, April was a busy month for you!” I boldly replied “and it ain’t even over yet!” I was promptly corrected.

Doesn’t sound super fake if you are looking for a place with what I think are pretty reasonable basic characteristics of comfort and security.

House that can accommodate a small family not in a higher than average crime area, does not require fix up maintenance that those of us working long hours will never have time to do or can’t afford to have done, has been well cared for and doesn’t feel gross. I’m not talking luxury homes here, I’m just talking about something that you would at least look forward to coming home to.

When I see all these people buying these homes, I’m just shocked at how they have either accrued so much wealth or are so comfortable with so much debt.

It’s pretty tough out there right now.
