Agreed. I debated specifying artificial or what not. I would argue that beet powder is a dye. Nothing wrong with it. The problem exists when the extremes are exercised within the definitions. Companies can’t just color in the lines. Gotta find some way to corrupt it for profit.

Two things he stands for that I am in alignment with, banning artificial food dyes and pharma ads. If he succeeds in both those things, he can still fuck off, but do I want those to succeed.

Should have led an insurrection instead, and then become president. Though I forgot if you need to also defraud a charity, be a cheating rapist slumlord and get convicted of 34 felonies first, or if the order doesn’t matter. Things are changing so fast nowadays.

This is exactly what I have discussed with people of Hispanic backgrounds, who are either here legally, or native to the USA that approve of deporting immigrants. Your skin color dictates your eligibility for deportation. Identification, due process, laws, all of that go out the window when you have a government that decides to engage in mass deportation. You are not safe now. You played yourself and your fellow people. You let a con man make you feel superior to other human beings.

Edit: Granted, this was in a bar and after a few drinks, so I don’t think my perspective landed as well as I would have hoped.
