The “they” doesn’t need to be the on using it to be dangerous. As someone who grew up in these places “Extreme behavioral issues” generally means they’re putting you on so many drugs you can’t think straight and if you say no they lock you in a closet and beat you until you take the pill, or hold you down and give you a shot if they have an injectable version.

Physical and psychological abuse is constasnt and normalized, and sexual abuse is common and covered up, or the victims are blamed for it.
