I don’t go anywhere and it’s probably killing me slowly thru vices. I don’t see a better option tho.
I made it one episode. Extremely well done show about a tragically terrible flaw of American society that frustrates me daily. Didn’t need a reminder of how terrible things are.
Tldr: Game title is Enshrouded.
You sure about that? FTA
The oxymoronic single-player MMO Erenshor, which has slowly been becoming a Steam superstar since 2023
It kind of is and kind of isn’t. I’m guessing you don’t have kids. You have to pick your battles. Every disagreement or lesson or whatever takes energy. You only get so much per day. Some kids need more energy from you than others.
That said, regarding your original question, mine don’t stream on YouTube and I can’t imagine why a parent would. That is a battle I would pick. They don’t even have computer web cams. (their phones do, but our rule is you can’t have them on when other people are around unless they okay it.)
I acknowledge it. I preface my post with something, usually /rezz or I’ll comment “I know this is old but…”
It’s a good concern, but it’s not a “right-now” problem. It shouldn’t stop you from doing your thing, until it’s a real problem. It’s not urgent. When it becomes a problem, you likely will have more resources to solve it.
On fragrange, zerowaste and sustainability.
/r/soapmaking might have some advice. There is a lemmy equivalent !soapmaking@sh.itjust.works but it doesn’t look very active.
The post got deleted by mods in a manner of minutes.
I’ve always struggled with Reddit’s arcane rules. I rarely know why my stuff is deleted. shrugs I don’t really post there anymore, just lurk.
are toxic to aquatic life when poured down the drain
When they’re used in cleaning concentrations, are they that harmful? I see commercial products with them, so they can’t be super terrible. Drain water still has to go thru municipal water systems before it’s released back into nature.
The dose makes the poison. Anything in high enough concentrations causes problems. Essential oils are distilled from the plant and SUPER concentrated.
Oh, good point on bear threat VS tree threat.
“would you rather share your emotions with a woman you know or a tree in the woods”, but that doesn’t really feel like it’s an equal question in my head.
Why not? The premise of the bear vs the man is a physical dilemma, which is usually how a male aggressor attacks a female victim. The premise of sharing your emotions with a tree vs a woman is an emotional dilemma, which is usually how a female attacks a male victim.
The tree vs woman was instantly understandable to me, because I’ve been manipulated and harassed by multiple women in my life, after opening up to them and being vulnerable, mostly with romantic partners. My male friends didn’t do this in nearly the same frequency. That said, it’s a problem of sampling bias. I’ve never had a romantic relationship with a man. Maybe they would physically attack me. Maybe they would emotionally attack me.
As inifinitesunrise said, it’s kind of nonsensical. I think the root of the question is “would you rather be vulnerable again or not?” but with heteronormativity or sexual dimorphism. Honestly, no. I’ll never be that vulnerable again. It’s backfired every time in my life. Every. Time. If my experience is universal, which I hope it’s not, then it’s just that humans are flawed and terrible. (I’m slowly turning into the old man in the woods with only a dog breaking the solitude.)
I love Bellular’s content. I wish he would stop playing the clickbait game. I miss it when he didn’t do that. I know why he does, but I hate it.
Thanks.
IP? Do you mean imaginary property? If so, I agree. I think that ideas and culture should be shared. I understand the stated goal (protect individual inventors from being exploited by huge corporations) but that’s not how it’s played out. It’s used as a tool of control by powerful companies to stifle innovation. Ask any 3d printer hobbyist if they like stratysus. (I effing hate them) there should be some mechanism to protect inventors but this isn’t it.
I was on board until I saw Jared Leto.
Books. Multiple.
The Practice Effect by David Brin. It’s an isekai (it’s not anime, but it’s an isekai) where things get MORE useful when you use them, reversing entropy.
Sentenced to Prism. MC is sent on a mission to a world inhabited by silicate based life forms. Shenanigans ensue. Mildly autistic coded MC.
Resurrection Inc. The dead are resurrected as mindless zombie robots. Sometimes it goes wrong and the dead regain their memories. The MC does. Hijinks ensue.

Lemmy more. The default comment sorting means there’s a chance that my comment will be at the top and therefore discussion can happen. On reddit, past a certain amount of comments, I don’t bother. No one will see it.
I still remember when blizzard made guitar hero bard class. The community loved it and wanted it to be real.
