  • Oooof! My deep condolences to you and your sauce. Keep the csn and see if youncsm return it. Also email the company and get free sauce. I work at a restaurant and do a lot of the ordering and if the product isn’t up to par I email the supplier. People are paying a shitload for our food and the one thing I do try really hard at while working is to make sure they’re getting a good bang for their buck. Shit is hard out there and I know there are some once a month regulars or once a year families that it’s the rare time they can go out to a decent sit down place so I am a freshness and quality hardliner. Turns out they have people paid to keep you buying shit from them and despite the fact that say, my work only orders from certain suppliers and I can’t personally threaten to take my business elsewhere, they don’t know that and they think I’m management.

Anyway, I’ve applied this to my own grocery purchases. Don’t complain at the store, email the company. If you really like a treat make up a complaint like some wrapper being mashed or baked into a food or whatever cause they’ll often send you a bunch for free. You can only pull this off once or twice per supplier and your legit complaints may hit deaf ears after but you can get a lot of free shit by complaining to the right email address.

  • Well put. He’s a really well written character and the performance brings it home to a tee. I would actually like to see more character depth brought in, cause it does raise the question of what his deal is, what’s he like off work? There’s a one dimensionality that works fine for what he serves ploy wise and humanizing the space nazi too much isn’t the best but I would like to know his personal motivation. What’s getting him up every day so he csn be the best damn space nazi he can be? Cause he doesn’t seem like a true believer cause he’s too detached from any fanaticism, he can’t just be there for the paycheck cause he’s working too hard for that. Maybe not exploring that angle makes him too perfect a space nazi as well, he can’t be shown to be competent and correct (situationally) when he’d fundamentally pursuing incompetent and incorrect goals. Really that kinda applies to every but Syril as far as the bad guys go. I think you can explore a character without making them sympathetic
