I just hope FFXVII is turn based. Last year was also really good for turn based games. Maybe Square Enix will notice. I know they do other turn based games but it would be nice if they went closer to Final Fantasy’s roots

Trying to get gamers to boycott is gonna be a very uphill battle.

BDS is very good at doing targeted boycotts that are pretty easy to not buy. I see why they are trying to at least focus on the gaming section. It is something people can just not buy.

I looked up PS1 game prices and apparently they were about $50 which was about $100 in todays money. I remember $50 being the price of some of the bigger Wii games back when I started gaming and the $60 price point was the norm for a while. Kinda interesting how games seemed inflation proof.

This is going to sell like hotcakes because everyone and their mothers loves Mario Kart. Nintendo will shut down any emulator attempt and every game will be $80 now. Kinda a miracle that games were about $60 for a decade.

Also everyone that says they will hold out will buy it launch day.

I’d love to see if the Final Fantasy IX remake is real and if it will be on Switch 2. I’m gonna play the original after I finish VIII regardless of news.
