This take on things is also very American. There are almost four billion guys in the world who are lucky enough not to have the stupid yank bullshit to endure

My frustration is that people ignore the lessons, and actively embrace it

Not because they think they will benefit, but because they hope that the tyrants will hurt the people they fear and hate

People are capable of amazing things. Both amazingly good, and awful

America could be a bright light, despite the fact that the country was founded on genocide, cruelty and exploitation, but they choose ignorance, hate, fear, cruelty, bigotry, and stupidity whenever they can

And the whole world suffers

Most of us were disgusted, but too many Australians sympathise with this absolute waste of oxygen

Immediately the usual “why should we be welcomed to our own country?” shit started

Australia is better than many places, but there’s an awfully deep streak of racism here
