I think @ada@lemmy.blahaj.zone totally should publish a censure on fediseer if she didn’t already with details so people can decide if defederating feddit.uk would be best.

Go and get banned from a Blahj instance and you’ll a large number of other seemingly random communities will automatically ban you as well (see my post history for a modlog link showing the effect).
For the record in all the cases of this happening that I can count in recent history on one hand, the people who received these bans received them for the exposure of what they did, not because they were banned from blahaj. Lemmy is large majority a leftist, trans-supportive platform. So transphobia isn’t going to be popular here and will get you booted from communities if and when mods find out about it. Which is what happened to you.
It’s honestly surprising you didn’t get an instance ban since lemmy.world does ban people for transphobia these days. I guess @MrKaplan@lemmy.world just didn’t notice it.

Disagreed, locking is the correct call, people are going to just keep coming to continue the argument otherwise or rehash removed topics (you’re guilty of that one). @Db0@dbzer0.com probably should’ve banned some of those people but locking stops the arguments dead in their tracks, so is a valid solution to stop the arguments.
I think they can and they’re just upset about it because they want to come into trans spaces and persecute trans people with questions and thinly-veiled transphobic talking points and trans people just aren’t having it.
Listen, Blahaj.zone doesn’t tolerate transphobia, no matter how polite or benign it seems. Refusing to stick up for trans people or enforce policies on transphobia is transphobic in and of itself. A lot of the BBC style transphobic people who ask “Is it offensive to say a trans woman doesn’t have a cervix”, and the “moderate conservatives” who make similar statements of non-support or bad faith accusations get very upset when people won’t play along or will moderate the hell out of them (banning them from spaces or defederating) but guess what. Trans people don’t owe you explanations or debates, they don’t need to or want to answer your disgusting questions, they see right through the mask of fake politeness.
They also have an SD card slot for those who feel the onboard storage isn’t quite enough for their tastes.
No it’s called keeping the money and merchandise in their original hands, which for business is worse than theft. It means no one buys and you don’t sell.
Db0 made the right call here, this isn’t the place for arguments and drama. YDI
And this is the reason why apple and other companies jump on the trend. Many of these manufacturers also sell Bluetooth headphones and they want people to buy them instead of cheaper wired ones.
Some of them make excuses but this is one of the primary reasons, and some of the excuses are so transparently stupid it isn’t even funny. Like saying they removed it so people can use Bluetooth headphones (as if presence of the headphone jack prevents use of Bluetooth headphones 🙄).
I still have one in my phone, and external SD card storage too. Another thing that they want gone (cloud storage agenda).
I don’t think people understand, big companies don’t want copyright to go away. They want themselves to be untouchable while being able to make strikes against poor people. They probably also want to change it so unlike now where copyright is about coming first they’d rather it be about being rich.
What big tech companies really want is the opposite of copyright abolition. They want control, they’ve always wanted control. Make no mistake, no matter how much they make it seem like it, they aren’t on the side of piracy.
General relativity is for nerds (this is a joke).
In case people aren’t aware this is satire. This isn’t advocacy for poor quality content, nor is it anti-AI trolling rhetoric.
Anyone is free to build it themselves. Someone could even distribute their own build from the same source under a different name completely legally.
You could just as easily in the spirit of this community do it with the same name and code, same way they do it for cracked games. Don’t tell me it’s not done because there are security concerns, you have no way to tell if cracked games contain secret malware in them yet people still distribute and download those.
They bank on users being lazy and then pay for the convenience.
And also pirates to not outright rip them off, which seems to be working for some reason…
@AceTKen@lemmy.ca @A_Union_of_Kobolds@lemmy.world @BroBot9000@lemmy.world @Yeno@lemmy.world What you are doing here is called brigading and it is a form of community harassment that needs to stop. None of you do this in any other community i.e. !stable_diffusion_art@lemmy.dbzer0.com or !share_anime_art@lemmy.dbzer0.com and you shouldn’t be doing it here.
Going forward I will be reporting accounts that do this as coordinated brigating in spam defense. If you dislike this community you know what to do.
Here’s a hint:
They’re banking on your low standards.
Yeah this is unfortunately common, and many people are quick to defend developers like that making excuses.
If they were willing to defederate Exploding-heads for being a hate filled extreme right wing instance they should defederate HC for the same or similar reasons.
Because conservative idiots aren’t content talking to each other in their own spaces, they seek to force their ideas onto other people, even those who wish not to listen to them. It’s why they shut exploding-heads down, they were widely defederated and couldn’t force their ideas onto other people easily.
