Very few shows measure up. One I haven’t seen mentioned that I liked more than I expected was Treme. I think it was created by the same team as the wire.

Took about 23 hours to drive from Des Moines to Palm Beach in a Subaru. That dumpster must have spent more than half the trip charging.

My E-61 espresso machine. The machine isn’t that old but the design dates back to 1961. Popping the cover for maintenance reminds me of working on an old car.

It makes great coffee too!

I’ll weigh in here. I’m assuming that you’re using these spirits for mixing and not sipping and are looking for reasonably priced options.

My go-to mixing bourbon is Evan Williams Black Label. It’s not awesome but it’s solid and is in the $20 range.

For rum - try plantation 3 star. It has much more flavor than Bacardi and is t much more expensive.

I don’t use amaretto much but I’d probably suggest DiSorano (sp?).

I liked McCain as well, until he picked Palin. On that day I changed my party affiliation from R to I because I knew there was no room under the big tent for a person like me.
