They would first have to prove that you were the one who did it. Good luck with that.

I’m baffled. Thanks for letting me know! :)

So bizarre. Well…I guess pasting the link in your browser isn’t too difficult. The video is well worth watching!
Them? You mean the ones who were doing all that revolting that you so idolize? Now, I’ll be the first to admit that our democracy isn’t perfect - far from it. But if you truly believe in what you’re espousing, why aren’t you out there starting the revolution? What are you doing to change things? What are you doing that is so much better than democracy? All I see is talk. And trying to get people to not vote, which is exactly the kind of talk that mysteriously crops up whenever there’s an important election on the horizon. Who benefits from people not voting? That’s a question you might want to give some serious thought to.
I did. It shows up just fine for me. How strange…
Which led to what? Voting. Democracy.
How did you get these ‘granted freedoms’ in the first place?

PC Gaming@lemmy.ca•Do you ever think there are too many PC games? So did Ultima's Robert Garriott—in 1989English
6·9 days agoI’ve come to the same conclusion. And it just seems like every game that comes out is just a re-skinned version of some other popular game with nothing really new to bring to the table, anyway.

14·9 days agoI remember reading somewhere that there are officially more PC games being released than there are players to play them. Of course, if one is talking about the amount of quality games being released, then the number shrinks very fast.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What is a gender neutral honorific for non-binary folk?English
12·9 days agoYes, I’ve done this, as well. It definitely works.
I absolutely loathe this tradition, and I ask everyone to not do it in celebration of me. I also ask friends and family to not let anyone know it’s my birthday at any restaurant we’re at, as well. I fucking hate being sung to. Like, a lot. Just give me a pat on the back or something for Chrissake…

46·9 days agoHaving worked in the retail sector for some time, I quickly learned that appearances are often deceiving after a few embarrassing blunders on my part. I taught myself to call everyone ‘my friend’. I had no more problems after that.

When someone reminds me of something I’ve completely forgotten about. It’s the worst feeling…
