A lot of non-truck city people like to cite some damning statistic, something-something-87% of truck owners haven’t hauled anything significant in the past year. Correct, and I think most people simply don’t have that need. The number of oversized trucks I see, that go from home to cubicle work to WalMart & back home again… 🙄🙄🙄

Full-sized trash cans don’t fit in a car very well. But they fit nicely in a truck. This truck can “haul”…all kinds of bulky, awkward shit that doesn’t weigh much. I’ve got a lot of that in my life.

I could use this as a nice, basic farm shuttle vehicle. Chores. Daily driver to & from work. Camping even, obviously light tent camping. Drive-in movie theaters. Parties. “I don’t have room in my car for [junk] .” Well, throw it in my truck. Problem solved, yay 🥳

It’s electric, so you could even drive it part-time & fully recharge it with the fucking sun.

There’s talk about abolishing the IRS, but…it needs to be more than talk. Currently we’ve got a taste of tariffs and, as per usual, we’re getting ass-raped by the IRS & federal income taxes. Getting it from both ends.

We’d have to see it in action, but a consumption style tax would be straightforward. Steep, sure. But I would love to be freed from the immense burden that is the IRS. However we can manage that…I would give almost anything.

Fuck the IRS, fuck filing taxes, fuck all this wasteful spending of our goddamn money. It’s not the government’s money; the government has no money. It’s our money that they steal from us, and yet we’re still $36T+ in debt. This is unsustainable. We need to fix it.

Back when I attended church, I shit you not, the preacher from the pulpit asked the congregation who was having the most kids (the sermon I think was based on kids & families). Then he said “The Mos-lems, the Mos-lems (Muslims) are having the most kids & they have large families.” If I remember correctly, I think he was making the point that if Muslims have many many kids & faithful Christians have fewer, eventually, there will be more Muslims than Christians & this was a big problem; Christians need to devote themselves to having more children and “raising them right”, or the Muslims will become the majority & “win”, and Christianity would dwindle & die out.
