Night Hall Motion Detected, you left the broom out again, it probably slid a little against the wall. I bemoan my existence, is this what life is about? Reporting on broom movements?
There is no getting over someone using your knives and not cleaning and drying them properly. I had this happen two weeks ago and spent 30 minutes reprofiling the edge.
Old partner and I had ‘guest knives and wine glasses’ to stave this off.

6·4 hours agoI used to have this great map from Australia in the 1970’s when they were converting. It was a world map depicting “countries using the metric system, countries adopting the metric system, countries with no plans to adopt”. The only " fuck it, let’s stay with Rods to the Hogshead " country was the U. S.
3·1 day agoI find Vespucci difficult to use as well. I put it out there as an option for others who might find StreetComplete lacking. SCEE hits the spot for me most of the time.
I linked to F-droid, they both work fine on mobile. Editing is easier on desktop though. I find replying to questions easier on desktop as well.

Just don’t be surprised it asks things OSM already has. It is coded to periodically prompt users for check ups, if the information is still valid.
Where I live quite a bit of the data is outdated. It’s great to have the “is this still here?” prompt

6·2 days agoWhile the headline does reflect some of the article, the main focus is about whether or not this was a widespread ancient practice. The takeaway was that it was not. To me that’s what made the article interesting.
That comment contradicts what I linked to. And the first reply to that comment (by someone else) links to the same comment I did.
Either donations are separate, or they are not.
Which is true? Nutomic was tagged in the post, last I saw they had not replied.
