I actually liked working my factory jobs but unfortunately in the US they don’t let you sit even if you could fulfill your role on the line in a chair. If this changed then my ideal career would be factory work.
I also recently got into Buddhism and I would say a good place to start is What The Buddha Taught by Walpola Rahula, once you’ve finished that you can check out The Noble Eightfold Path: Way to the End of Suffering by Bhikku Bodhi as well! Both of these books will give you a very good foundation.
I would also advise against fixating on choosing a school or sect, it can lead to decision paralysis and you may just get fixated with a school that isn’t even practiced anywhere near you. Absolutely look into Sanghas near you and base your choices around that! I hope you enjoy your time with Buddhism!
Temu and AliExpress are both fine, avoid Wish and be mindful of scams. Also watch your shipping costs, they can easily eat your wallet. You can filter items by whether or not it ships from US and for AliExpress they have what they call “Choice” items that you can get free shipping on if you meet a dollar amount.

There’s a couple ways of going about it, if you’re adopting from a person they’re usually emotionally invested in giving their old friend a good home so if you were like “Hey I’m interested in this cat! I’d like to make sure they get along with my cat at home, if they don’t can I return them to you?” They might be okay with that arrangement.
I think you should, cats love company. But you should have a backup plan for if they don’t get along.

Depends on what ultras we’re talking about but broadly speaking in the West they will tend not to engage in politics in the real world. I wouldn’t call it allyship with the capitalists, it’s more like complicity.

No way you’re unironically pulling out the identity politics when just about every single revolutionary party in the US’ history was led by minorities. We are the first to feel the brunt of capitalism and for that reason we are the ones to lead the charge against it while the privileged sit in their condos waiting for everything to blow over so they can say “Oh I actually supported civil rights this whole time :)”
On a Sunbeam by Tillie Walden. It is a very fantastic graphic novel / webcomic about found family and queerness, I read it as a teenager and it has heavily affected me.
The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet by Becky Chambers. Also a sci-fi found family story with queer themes but in the form of a novel. The worldbuilding and stories told in the Wayfarer’s series has moved me to tears multiple times <3
