It happens in other cars too. And batteries burn. The outer door handles are no different than any car’s locked doors.

I think the AI wanted to go off explaining that this recipe was from their maternal grandmother who used to also bake cookies on the homestead with the children running around and blah blah blah … and then it got offended when cut off.
I spoke out … on lemmy … to a bunch of people who don’t need to hear the message. And I’m thinking if cancelling my Disney subscription … but I wanna watch the next Only Murders in the Building. Power to the people!
Meat’s back on the menu tonight!
A moral rational to not be dissolved.
10% of 30km/h is 3km/h. So by your metrics if you’re 3km/h over you can get a fine. And if it’s accuracy is so bad, then it might give you a ticket for 31km/h even if it’s threshold is set to 10%
The fbi guys are pretty stupid, huh?
Light 'em up!
If my company wipes my Mac through such a system, but I have it hooked to my own personal Apple cloud account, can I go buy a new Mac and restore it?
Well sure. Thats colonization. Which is the basis for the existence of most countries. If you believe the U.S., Canada, Australia (and lots of others) have a right to exist, then you agree with Churchill.
As horrific as the estimated 60,000 dead in Gaza is, it’s less than 3% of the population.
Pollination isssues.
You killed the bees.
We’re all gonna die.
Ah, don’t you just love the smell of freedom of speech being crushed?
There are reports of tickets for 2km/h over. penalties start at 1km/h over.
Whatever - you do you. I’ll stick to the smaller roads away from the cameras. No risk to me then.
St Valentine. He’s pretty old, but he still gets around. The stories of him being executed in the 3rd century are exaggerated.
Bloody cray cray.
Yes, but they honestly believe that’s the right thing to do. Or at least they’ve convinced themselves that it’s excusable. They believe they have a right to do things for themselves at the expense of others. That’s why they won’t ever have remorse. It takes more intelligence to empathize with others; they don’t have that. It’s actually kinda sad.
People who wig out and do what they know is evil are very distraught, and often suicidal.
The empire is still strong. Voldemort is a shriveled piece of flesh (unable to die because of his magic). Gilead eventually falls.
I have one, I know exactly how it works. Yes the back door system is stupid, but no worse for safety than any car with the kid locks on the doors.
The emergency internal handles in the front are exactly where you think they’d be. If I don’t tell people how to open the door with the button, they pull the emergency handle. Of course if someone is used to pushing the button and it doesn’t work, they might panic, and forget but if they’re unconscious it hardly matters.
