I am not sure what you mean, I understand that column staggering is the fact that some columns are not aligned, so this keyboard does have staggered columns.
Anyway, the placement of the keys was not a problem during soldering, the problems came from the switches themselves and the small diodes. I don’t think moving the switches would have changed anything.

Oh I see, I guess you could have a problem fitting both RGB leds and the diodes in the switches. The components I used are small enough to fit though. And also, for this iteration, I soldered the diodes under the board, which does make the keyboard a little bit taller.
