  • To me Jazz is to appreciate timeless music such as those from Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong.

Jazz is also my way to appreciate improvisation explosiveness such as those coming from Herbie Hancock ,Chick Corea, Hiromi Uehara, Joey Alexander. they are just blew my mind! Then Miles Davis - the smartest, sexiest, grooviest musician along with Wayne Shorter, they make me learn “ahh this is what a great band leader should do”.

Jazz is my kind of music at any time, whatever mood i have there will be music that goes along with it. Recently, i streamed Laufey, Gregory Porter almost everyday while in the office, it helps me focus and keep me in a good mood.

Jazz is not pretentious, i look at most of my heroes i mentioned before play live and in interview they are always humble even with all those skills. Marcus Miller is probably one of the most skillful and resourceful musician but also the most down to earth musician, unlike typical rockstar or metal musicians mentality that posses “i am the man, with all those pretentiousness” (i have no intention to start a flame war, it is just my own opinion).

Lastly, My controversial opinion is that i think Jazz is America version of classical music, and somehow they are always doing things better when it comes down to music (and cinema).

  • I live in Athens. I just want to say Kudos to all the greeks, they are hard worker, simple and unpretentious people. Its so unfortunate that these people need to work long hour.

And the rent here is a problem thanks to AirBNB and greedy landlords, for example i know people who needs to pay €400 monthly rent (not included utilities bills) with their €1000 monthly salary, and at the end of the month they have nothing to save.

  • Thank you for Informative infograpahic. However i have doubt about recommending Waterfox, in my opinion it should not be recommended for the reason that its involved in an unclear business practice to sustain its development.

Waterfox is a fork of Firefox with some tweaking, probably somewhat close to LibreWolf which i think have better offering for being more a community driven project.

However, web browser is a complex piece of software, features and important bugs & security fixes being added from time to time, so it is also important to consider how fast they merge the change from Upstream (Firefox). If it’s too long to to get update it could introduce security issues. So as of now i don’t see any viable alternative to Firefox, Chromium or even Ungoogled Chromium.

  • I was last browsing 4chan in 2012. IDK about other boards but on /b/ i won’t call it free speech but hate speech, plus the sickening post under the thread “mods are asleep” or “girl with braces” for underage teens, and to no surprise these threads are not even deleted by mods. And i think about the banning on 4chan it was always up to the mods if they don’t like what your posting then you get banned. Sometimes m00t was also pops up on a thread and banning ppl for the laugh at it.

The only good thing 4chan is, it makes me questioned, investigate, and learn to not become hateful.
