Little update: I decided to go for a hail mary instead of just creating a new account, like some other trans people have successfully done, and just changed it… And it just instantly updated. No id, no nothing. Seems like I’m one of the lucky ones.

I suspect it might be because my bank account is linked to it, which already has my new name.

But in the end I guess it’s the same as with other trans stuff: YMMV.
