Luckily she’s hardly that way. She’s actually got really bad guilt about it and has wanted to abandon things just to work a paying job so she can tell people that’s what she does.

26·2 days agoAll the other shit aside, it bothers me that so many areas now rely on Starlink, handing Elon the keys to just cut access for whomever whenever.
People feel weird about it, but it’s perfectly fine.
My wife doesn’t work a paying job, we don’t have kids, but in almost every conversation when I’m meeting someone when they ask what my wife does and I tell them, they always follow it up with like, “Oh does she work from home?” or “Oh, does she sell stuff online?”
It often breaks their brain that she doesn’t work a paid job.

My guess is that because OpenAI is the worst of the AI offerings in the industry, NVIDIA is trying to reposition themselves with other companies that are worthwhile.
OpenAI is garbage. It is the household name, but not the go-to solution (in my anecdotal experience).
OpenAI has positioned themselves well as the…Kleenex of AI (where the brand name becomes the sort of…name) but they just aren’t good.

My non-tesla GM vehicle sometimes panic brakes when I am leaving my garage at like 2-3mph because of how narrow the doorway is. This is obviously due to an abundance of caution + ultrasonics…ultrasonics Tesla doesn’t have in lieu of pure vision with no redundancy.
There is no possible way Tesla ever achieves unmanned fully capable robo taxis that are safe with their current setup.
Surprised there isn’t at least one sharpshooter in the area that could pick off a couple of these people from a safe distance.
